With the family
Little investigators and big curiosity seekers
For children (and parents) who like to search, rummage and solve enigmas while learning.
The little art detective: At the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Mirande, children set off in search of fragments of lost paintings. →Request the game from the museum reception desk.
Randoland: Clever treasure hunts for the whole family to enjoy in the villages of Bassoues, Miélan, Mirande, l'Isle-de-Noé and Montesquiou. By following the clues and riddles, children become the guides for the walk - yes, even those who never want to walk. →Download the game
Friends with fur, feathers or hooves
Stroking a goat, feeding a hen or watching a chewing rabbit all add up to a great holiday. Here are three ways to fill up on nature... and furry cuddles
- Visit a goat farm: in summer, meet some funny little horned creatures! At La Chèvre qui Rit and La Chèvre et le Chou, you can find out about life on the farm, get to know the animals (be careful, they have a temper) and find out how the famous cheese that smells so good is made.
- The star pigs of the Astarac: At Domaine de Rey, you can put on your boots and become a farmer for a day! Here, there's no pause for thought as the black Gascon pigs wait for their meal, the piglets squeal impatiently, and you discover life on the farm in a way you never imagined.
- Educational farms: guaranteed immersion at the Le Vallon des Rêves and Aoueille educational farms. Here, you can observe, touch, participate and laugh. Perfect places to learn while having fun, and leave with lots of stories to tell at school.
For budding stuntmen (and those made of concrete)
Are they bursting with energy? Do they want to roll, gallop and jump around? Perfect, we've got just the thing to channel them (or try to).
The Mirandeskate park: scooters, rollerblades, skateboards or BMX... It's all about sliding, twirling and trying out tricks with varying degrees of control (applause optional). A great spot for young riders in search of thrills and inclined pavements.
Pony rides: the region's riding schools offer rides suitable for the youngest riders. A first encounter with hooves, manes and the gentle rhythm of pony steps. A chance to explore the surrounding area in mini western style, with the option of scratching and carrots.
